For the company Castil, we designed this family of outdoor furniture in painted stainless steel and rope inspired by feelings of lightness and warmth.
Objects with curved and enveloping lines have emerged that are ideal in a natural context but perfectly capable of fitting into bright living rooms in dialogue with the outdoors.
The distinctive feature of the furniture is the deliberately large backrests, which also visually convey a sense of comfort.
The large surface area also emphasises the rope weave.
The pillows are an integral part of the design: their volume increases the perception of three-dimensionality of the back-arm element.
The colour scheme is consistent with the company’s other collections. The colours of the structures and weaves help to convey cheerfulness and liveliness.
The distinctive feature of the wrap-around backrest is also present in the high and low stool versions.
Side-tables, in two versions: high and low, complete the family.
